Services in Detail
Accessibility (BFSG & WCAG)
Since June 2025, the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (Accessibility Strengthening Act) requires many companies to have accessible websites. We audit and improve your website according to WCAG – good for compliance, reach and users.

Accessibility is quality everyone can feel
Good contrast helps in the midday sun, clear structure helps those in a hurry, keyboard navigation helps professionals: What is necessary for people with disabilities makes websites better for everyone. Accessibility is not a niche topic – it is craftsmanship with a legal framework.
Since the Accessibility Strengthening Act, it is also mandatory for many offerings. We audit according to WCAG 2.1 AA, fix issues systematically, and document transparently – including the accessibility statement required by law.

How it works
- 01
Audit according to WCAG 2.1 AA
Automated plus manual: Screen reader, keyboard, contrasts, forms – with classified findings.
- 02
Prioritized Remediation
Blocking issues first: We remediate by severity, with transparent effort per item.
- 03
Verification
Rechecking fixes in actual usage context – not just in testing tools.
- 04
Accessibility Statement & Integration
Accessibility statement, feedback channel, and team guidelines – to keep it accessible.
Audit with substance
Contrasts, keyboard operation, screen reader structure, forms: we test against WCAG criteria and document every finding in an understandable way.
Implementation included
We don't just deliver the report, we fix the barriers – in code, design and content.
Accessible in every language
Alternative texts, Aria labels and explanations are adopted in all language versions – accessibility does not end at the language border.
Typical use cases

Frequently asked questions about this service
Does the BFSG apply to us?
Ultimately, your legal counsel should clarify this – many consumer-oriented digital offerings are affected, with exceptions e.g. for microenterprises. We provide technical assessment and implementation; we do not replace legal interpretation.
Is an automated test sufficient?
No – automated testing catches about half of relevant issues. Keyboard traps, screen reader logic, and understandable error messages can only be found via manual testing. We combine both.
Does accessibility make the website uglier?
On the contrary: it enforces clarity – better contrast, clear focus states, understandable structure. Good design and accessibility are the same discipline, taken seriously.
